Herona Hospital are very proud to be able to go into the local community and offer free treatment.This outreach helped children with worming tablets. often children are anaemic from worms and worms are very common. Also girls were treated against cervical cancer.

This Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) device is one of 2 donated by IMET2000 and is already in use at Herona Hospital. This is an extremely important breakthrough for Herona Hospital not only for COVID19 but also to start their much-needed ICU. This is the first in Uganda and IMET2000 are keen to manufacture more in Uganda.

Keeping to strict social distancing rules Herona Hospital are going to remote areas and and testing for HIV. Many people turned up for free HIV screening in Ngombele trading centre.

As well as free drugs and testing for our HIV clinic the government have also supplied the hospital with a number of different drugs. This helps increase the number of free drugs available to the community. The drugs Herona Hospital have to offer for free include malaria, sickle cell anemia, also drugs to stop the transference of HIV from mother to baby.
