

Herona Hospital has come along way in a very short time.
This is the old clinic in 2017, mothers are gathered outside for the free immunisation for their babies. This was Herona Hospital on Monday 29th Oct 2018, they have been holding free immunisation on the last Monday of every month. Now the government have given a vaccine fridge through the assistant DHO officer and immunisations will be done weekly.


Blood at Herona Hospital
Herona Hospital are pleased to announce after an inspection by the quality assistance officers from the Uganda National Transfusion Services, they are now stocking blood. This is hugely important to the area getting blood has until now meant long expensive journeys to Kampala. Everyone's very excited to be able to offer this new service.


Building work is coming along well

Help Foundation Health Camp 2
Herona Hospital Ltd 'Serving our community' Herona Hospital always aim to provide high quality and affordable services. One of their most successful achievements are their health camps and we are delighted Dr Ali and the Help Foundation are returning for another health camp after their last camp treated over 1000 patients. The kings visit
Today saw the visit of Ronald Muwenda Mutebi Il, Kabaka of the Kingdom of Buganda to Herona Hospital. It was the culmination of a lot of hard work by everyone involved and the biggest day yet for the hospital and everyone involved. As well as meeting the staff and patients at the hospital the king planted a tree and laid the foundation stone for the brand new eye clinic. Crowds gathered to see the king and TV stations from all over Uganda were present. It was a particular joy
