Herona Hospital are extremely grateful for all the new equipment that has arrived, theatre bed, examination beds, diathermy machine, magnifying light, commodes, walking frames, office table and chairs and printers. Immunisation
Immunisation is one of the primary methods of prevention of disease. Through the Ministry of Health Herona Hospital has been availed with vaccines and a vaccine fridge so mothers will be able to immunise their babies at regular intervals as opposed to waiting a full month as the case was previously, with long waits on the day. Everyone involved with Herona Hospital would like to extend a big thank you to Dr Ali and Help Foundation for yet another fantastic health camp. Over 1000 people received free treatment for all kinds of ailments and health issues.


First 2 days of the health camp
People turned out in their hundreds for the first 2 days of the health camp. Over 1000 patients were seen and the work will continue for the next 2 days treating those patients in need. Everything at the health camp was free. Tests included HIV, malaria, yellow fever, typhoid, sickle cell, cervical cancer. Eye tests and full blood counts were also carried out and general consultation. Dr Ali gave a talk on HIV and malaria prevention, there was also talks on dental hygiene and
