We are very excited to announce work has begun on phase 3. The photos above show the preparation for the final foundations to go in, connecting phase 1 and phase 2. This is Herona Hospitals biggest undertaking yet, with this work finished the entire ground floor will be complete and give HHL wards for men, women and infants. It will also give them a operating theatre, maternity ward and large pharmacy.
Herona Hospital ltd were extremely happy to receive very important visitors in October, Patrick and Nina from the UK. They were greeted at the hospital by a local dance group and all the Herona staff. As well as having an in depth tour of the hospital they also experienced a busy health camp which saw over 1200 babies receive free measles vaccines over 2 days. They also visited Bagoye village where HHL often go for outreach. Their busy schedule also took them to Ebenezer Chil
Another successful health camp, this time in Bagoye a sub county of Ntenjeru, Mukono district. Herona hospital staff carried HIV and Hepatitus B screen and dental checkups. Everyone received free check ups and free medication.
