Operations at Herona Hospital


This patient had been to a number of government facilities without help. The last place he went to diagnosed a hernia but wanted 1,200,000 ugandan shillings for the the operation. Garvins team of 6 including a senior anaesthetist, a surgeon, theatre assistants and scrub nurses successfully operated. the patient was charged 200,000 ugx a fraction of the cost he had been told. Herona hospital have the facilities, personnel and patients but are lacking equipment. Please help us equip this rural hospital.
