Another busy week at Herona Hospital
A senior orthopaedic surgeon worked in our theatre.
He was working on a tibia and fibula break which other hospitals were charging a lot of money to repair. The operation was a success and the patient is now recovering in plaster.
Herona was also visited by a paediatrician who worked on children and gave a talk to all the staff.
With the new faster road Garvin is experiencing many terrible accident injuries and last week was no exception. There were also minor operations.
Equipping Herona Hospital remains a priority, they could do so much more with the correct equipment now they have the building, experienced staff and specialists on call.
