Update on the recent premature baby

Many people have messaged asking about the premature baby at Herona, offering help and enquiring on the health of the baby. I am more than delighted to say that the baby arrived safely at Naggalama Hospital, 30 km away and after being in an incubator for just a few days the baby has improved and is even being held by the mother. Thank you to everyone, there were numerous people ready to help and I am grateful to everyone. For one friend Helen Beattie the mother of premature twin boys it was too close to home. Using an app to send money she sent Garvin the full amount which arrived 2 hours later. Garvin was able to get to Kampala and pay for an incubator. Tomorrow (Wednesday 14th March) all being well the incubator will be installed. Imet2000 will help us collect the gift aid so we were able to choose the more expensive incubator which will hold 2 babies. Thank you Helen, Stewart, Max and Leo.
